With a seabob, you can move like a dolphin in the water: duck, dive and jump out of the water. Hold on to it like you’re holding onto a motorcycle, it is easy to learn and navigate. You control the speed via the control grip, with a push of a button, you zip across the water at high or cruising speed. Try one of the most popular and fastest-growing extreme watersports of all time. In wakeboarding, you stand on a small board with foot bindings while you hold onto a towrope connected to a speedboat. The goal, much like in other board sports, is to be able to stand up and keep your balance. If you’ve tried surfing or snowboarding before, you can apply the same skills and techniques to wakeboarding. Our watersports instructor will be there to guide you every step of the way, and in just a few tries, you’ll find yourself crisscrossing the wake. For experienced wakeboarders, the Maldives is the perfect backdrop to master a new stunt.

An easy introduction to the world of board watersports adventure is kneeboarding. In this watersport, you kneel and sit on your heel on a convex board while your legs are strapped securely on Velcro to prevent you from falling off. With a much lower centre of gravity, it is easier to keep your balance as you hold onto a towrope whilst a speedboat pulls you across the water. With a little patience and practise, you’ll be threading along the wake like a pro in no time!

Bouncing across the waves on an inflatable fun tube is one of the most fun and most exhilarating experiences you can have in the Maldives. The best thing about them is that there’s no skill required; just sit back, hold on tight and get ready for some fun. The speedboat pulls the fun tube along behind it as you bounce in its wake and slide across the surface of the sparkling water. By the end of the session, you’ll be filled with laughter and fun memories.

When the wind blows, you know it’s time to go on an epic windsurfing adventure. Our watersports instructor can give you a beginner lesson if you have never tried this watersport before. Here you will learn different skills and techniques to keep your balance on the board while you hold and steer the attached sail. Once you know the basics, you’ll be able to sail and glide across the refreshingly cool blue lagoon easily. If you’re already an experienced windsurfer, all you need to do is show your license, and you can venture out on your own.

CATAMARAN

CATAMARAN

The Maldives is an idyllic place to learn how to sail, and our catamaran is the perfect vessel to start with your sailing lesson. Our experienced watersports instructor will teach you the basics of catamaran sailing, how to handle lines and tillers, and when to move from one side to another to keep the catamaran in balance. If you already know how to sail, show your license to the watersports centre, and you can rent out one of the catamarans. Alternatively, you can also relax and join the catamaran sailing excursions with a skipper.

Glide across the water and ride upwind on a power kite. If you’ve never tried kitesurfing before, you can enrol in a short resort course to learn the basics of this extreme watersport. Our watersports instructor will teach you all you need to know about kitesurfing. You will learn how to use the board, control bar, harness, and inflatable power kite to harness the power of the wind so you can glide across the ocean and soar up in the air. This challenging watersport will test both your physical strength and endurance, but most of all, it’s a super fun activity!

For a more relaxing watersports activity, try our kayaks, pedalos or stand-up paddles. Wander across the lagoon at your own pace with any of these non-motorised watercraft. A recreational kayak is a double-seater vessel propelled by a double-bladed paddle. A stand-up paddle is a large board on which you stand up and move across the water surface using a paddle. A pedalo, on the other hand, is a small vessel where you sit side-by-side and use your feet to pedal. Whatever you may choose, you will surely enjoy the scenery around you as you pedal or paddle across the lagoon.

Snorkelling is a MUST-DO in the Maldives. With the warm water, calm lagoon, and stunning marine life, this is an activity you should not miss. If you have never tried snorkelling before, you can sign up for a snorkelling lesson to get you started. Our highly-trained watersports instructors will teach you the best techniques for snorkelling. You will learn breathing techniques using a snorkel and what to do when you get water inside your mask and snorkel equipment. By the end of the session, you’ll feel more safe and competent when in the water. With your newfound confidence in your snorkelling abilities, you’ll find your snorkelling exploration more enjoyable.

This long, inflatable tube that resembles a banana can accommodate up to six people, making it a perfect fun ride for the whole group. You straddle the banana boat and hold on tight as it gets towed by a speedboat. Our captain knows how to manage the speed and the perfect time to turn to make the ride more exciting. Get ready to get wet as the boat turns in different directions. The thrill of falling into the water adds up to the excitement of this ride.
